Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
FSD supports the efforts of grassroots organizations in Latin America, East Africa, and Asia. Our health organizations provide sustainable healthcare services to children, families and communities. Through our programs, we aim to raise international awareness of the challenges in developing countries and support cross-cultural communities in finding/implementing more effective solutions to health issues. We offer 7 different types of international programs for students, working professionals, and groups that involve direct medical assistance and public awareness campaigns. Each program varies in length (1 week - 2 years) and offers participants of all different skill levels the opportunity to participate in project implementation. In addition, program participants can utilize small grants to fund their own project proposals.
